Council for Latino Workplace Equity (CLWE)

About

The Council for Latino Workplace Equity (CLWE) is an organization dedicated to advocating for the advancement of Latinos in the American workforce.

They recognize the growing influence of the Latino population and their increasing contributions to the labor force. CLWE highlights the educational achievements and career milestones of Latinos, while acknowledging the gap that still exists between Latino representation in management positions and the overall Latino population.

With a focus on moving “from awareness to action,” CLWE organizes events like the Latino Leadership Conference. This conference brings together successful Latino leaders from various industries to share their experiences and discuss strategies for achieving equal opportunities for Latinos in the workplace. The conference also features workshops on topics relevant to Latino career advancement, such as personal branding and navigating corporate structures.

CLWE’s mission is to empower Latinos in the workplace and bridge the gap to equal representation in leadership roles. Through their initiatives and conferences, they aim to create a more diverse and inclusive work environment where Latinos can reach their full potential.
