Our region is known for its rich diversity and vibrant communities, and at DEIBPNC, we believe that this diversity is our greatest strength.

As we work together to address the challenges and opportunities of DEIB, our focus remains on creating environments where everyone can thrive. Whether you are an organization, educator, advocate, or community member, your participation in this consortium is vital. Together, we can drive meaningful change and build a more inclusive and equitable future for all.

Mission Statement

The mission of the DEIB Pacific Northwest Consortium DEIBPNC is to lead and support efforts that promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging throughout the region. We strive to create spaces where all voices are heard and respected, and where systemic barriers to inclusion are dismantled through education, collaboration, and advocacy.

Our vision is a Pacific Northwest where diversity is celebrated, equity is ensured, inclusion is the norm, and every individual experiences a profound sense of belonging. We aspire to build communities and workplaces that reflect these values, fostering innovation, creativity, and social cohesion.

Training

The DEIB Pacific Northwest Consortium DEIBPNC offers a variety of training programs designed to equip organizations and individuals with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to advance DEIB in their environments. Our training programs are practical, interactive, and tailored to address the unique challenges and opportunities within the Pacific Northwest.

  • Annual DEIB Pacific Northwest Consortium DEIBPNC Summit: A flagship event that brings together DEIB professionals, advocates, and leaders to share knowledge, network, and collaborate on advancing DEIB in the region.

  • Quarterly DEIB Forums: February 6, May 8, August 7, November 6

    An opportunity for DEIB professionals, advocates, and community leaders to share best practices, discuss challenges, and develop strategies for promoting DEIB.
  • Annual DEIB Pacific Northwest Summit: April 22-23

    A flagship event bringing together thought leaders, experts, and practitioners to explore cutting-edge DEIB topics, share research, and collaborate on solutions.
  • Monthly Webinars: Every third Wednesday of the month
    
These webinars cover a wide range of DEIB topics, including inclusive leadership, equity in education, and building a culture of belonging.
  • Advocacy Day: October 10
    
A day dedicated to mobilizing consortium members to advocate for DEIB policies and practices at local, state, and regional levels.
  • Networking Events: Quarterly, Dates TBD
    
These events provide a platform for DEIB professionals and allies to connect, share resources, and build partnerships to advance DEIB across the region.

Our training offerings are designed to meet the unique needs of the Pacific Northwest region, focusing on practical strategies for creating inclusive and equitable environments. 2025 Training Programs:

  • Inclusive Leadership Training:
    A series designed to develop leaders who can effectively champion DEIB within their organizations and communities.
Dates: January 16, April 17, July 17
  • Equity in Education Workshops:
    Workshops aimed at educators, administrators, and policymakers, focusing on strategies to promote equity and inclusion in educational settings.

    Dates: March 14, June 12, September 11
  • Building a Culture of Belonging Training:

    This training focuses on practical approaches to fostering a culture where all employees and community members feel valued and included.

    Dates: February 20, May 22, August 21
  • DEIB Policy Advocacy Bootcamp:

    An intensive program that prepares participants to advocate for effective DEIB policies at all levels of government and within organizations.
    Dates: October 2-3

These training programs are designed to empower participants to be effective DEIB advocates and leaders in their organizations and communities.
